Mott MacDonald has been appointed by the UK's Government Procurement Service as one of the suppliers for the Environmental and Sustainability Advice, Support and Delivery Services framework agreement (RM830), which will operate throughout the UK
The framework agreement has been developed to allow central government departments, along with the wider public sector including local authorities and health trusts, to procure services on a national basis.
The appointment incorporates a broad range of environmental and sustainability services, split by advisory and non-advisory services across a variety of subjects.
Mott MacDonald has been successful in securing a place in three of the eighteen lots of the framework, which cover air, climate change and noise and statutory noises.
Mott MacDonald's project manager Kevin Leather said: "Mott MacDonald is at the forefront of tackling sustainability issues as part of our projects in the UK and internationally. We have a detailed understanding and wide ranging experience in the fields of air, noise and climate change including in particular climate change adaptation and climate change risk assessment. This appointment is a major success for Mott MacDonald and underlines our commitment to delivering best practice in sustainability."
The initial framework agreement term is due to run until 2015 with an option to extend for a further one-year period.
