London Welcomes The European Future Energy Forum

6 October 2010

As part of the Future Energy series of events - developed by Masdar to drive and promote collaboration and dialogue in Europe around renewable energy policy, investment and innovation - the European Future Energy Forum (EFEF) will be taking place in London on 19 October 2010.

The forum will gather Europe's leading clean energy ministers, manufacturers and financiers for three days of talks and business dealings looking at key regulatory areas and commercialising clean energy.

Keynote speakers at the event will include Lykke Friis, Minister for Climate and Energy, Denmark; Pedro Marin, Secretary of State for Energy, Spain; and Carlos Zorrinho, Vice Minister for Energy and Innovation, Portugal.

Launched last year at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Spain, the event saw 3,638 attendees from 43 countries.

"Continuing in the successful footsteps of its parent event the World Future Energy Summit, held annually in Abu Dhabi, EFEF 2010 provides the perfect platform for the European renewable energy industry to share knowledge and technology, advance solutions, invite investors and explore new partnerships" said Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, CEO, Masdar.
