CIWM Exhibiting At Tip Ex 2012

CIWM will be exhibiting at the Tip Ex 2012 event taking place at Harrogate International Centre from 25th - 27th May

The event, which is the only UK exhibition dedicated to the tipper and bulk transport industry provides operators with the definitive one-stop-shop for all their needs and caters exclusively for the construction, demolition, waste and agricultural sectors.

In addition to our exhibition stand, CIWM will also be running two FREE events at the show. On Friday afternoon (14:30 - 15:50) a seminar will focus on Health & Safety issues in tipper and bulk transport operations. Speakers from Viridor, Vehicle Weighing Solutions and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers will examine topics such as; ensuring health and safety in bulk waste transport operations, cost savings of vehicle weighing, reducing carbon emissions by fuel savings, tipper stability and ongoing maintenance.

On Saturday morning (10:00 - 11:30) a training "taster" session will examine the implications of waste legislation relating to the transport sector and ask if operators are complying with the law. The session will introduce topics such as; what is the definition of waste? Do you know if waste legislation applies to you? The registration of waste carriers under the Duty of Care, penalties and Environmental permitting and exemptions.

Both sessions will take place at the Majestic Hotel, adjacent to the exhibition centre.
