Big Achievement for Recolight at the Rushlight Awards

02 February 2011

Recolight celebrates its win of the Waste Management Award at Rushlight Awards for its unique and innovative low-energy light bulb collection solutions, Bulbsore Mini and Bulbstore Maxi.

The Waste Management Award recognises the most environmentally effective resource collection, separation and handling arrangements for the whole waste cycle, and the panel of judges especially commended Recolight for its unique collection solutions for low-energy light bulbs.

Nigel Harvey, Chief Executive of Recolight commented on the win saying: "We are very proud and pleased to have won this award. It is recognition of all the hard work and dedication put in by the team to expand our consumer collection network and ultimately increase recycling rates of low energy light bulbs.

Bulbstore Mini is the first and the only purpose built waste light bulb collection container for indoor locations in UK. The Bulbstore Maxi on the other hand is a large container for outdoor use, which was developed for retailer and local authority bring sites.
