Much of the focus for recycling activity in the past has been geared towards the municipal waste stream. There were good reasons for doing so, not least of which was gaining hearts and minds in helping the public to understand the challenges and the behavioural changes required to turn waste into a resource. However, when it comes to diversion from landfill, municipal waste is by no means the largest contributor. |
