Accreditation and Approval

CIWM is able to Accredit, Approve or Endorse third party events, seminars, training courses, and academic programmes.

Accredited Courses and Approved Events can contribute to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of Corporate Members and Fellows, and the Structured Learning and Development (SLD) of Graduate and Licentiate Members.

Courses of a foundation level, which may not be suitable for CPD or SLD, can now apply for Endorsement of Short Training Courses.

Accredited Academic Courses and Accredited Short Courses are listed on their own pages on the CIWM website. Approved Events are also listed on a dedicated page which is linked from our weekly newsletter 'News Online'. Organisers can receive a discount when advertising in the CIWM Journal.
